Sweetest Candy's 21st Birthday

Celebrated Candy's 21st Birthday last Saturday.
She decorated her Chalet into the theme of pink and black, while we were requested to come in bright or neon colours.
 Pink guest book!
On one side of the wall, she lined up photos of her. I like this idea!
It becomes a nice background for phototaking!

Most of her friends came in bright colours. Which turns out so colorful in the pictures.
A picture of the nine of us! Finally full attendance. =)
We weren't as bright as they were, but it quite colourful.
Like a rainbow party!
The highlight of the evening were all the cakes.
Candy made these lovely coffee cupcake! They looks so adorable.
And her mad chio birthday cake!!
 Pink on the outside
 And rainbow inside.
 With Boyfriend.
 May and Ivan
 Esther and Slyv.
 And another nice photo together.
Happy 21st Birthday Candy! Hope you like that gift we got for you. =)

Happy Valentine's day =)

This is the second time boyfriend and I are celebrating Valentine’s Day, last year, we had an advance celebration as my poor boy have to go back to camp. Spending Valentine’s on the actual day feels awkward, maybe it is due to the freshness of the whole new experience.
The streets and the restaurants were packed with couples, hand in hand, some with boutique of flowers. By default, they carry those blissful look that sets my hair standing. Now I am speaking as though I am single, but it is just weird to see so many couples on the street! I guess this image would probably cause the singles to be on their nerves!
Celebrating Valentine’s on the actual day was also a good excuse for me to dress up. I wore pink, which I would usually find it too sweet to put on. But it fits well for the occasion.
The makeup set i received from Beatrice came handy too. It was the first time i applied eyeshadow, Youtube is definitely the best source to learn it!
*Awkward pose*
I used the two lighter shade and the purplish bronze. Didn't dare to be too adventurous as a beginner.
Kind of like the whole feel of putting on eye shadow, i always thought it wouldn't work on monolid.
Anyway, we went slightly earlier as I was mad hungry. Our initial plan was Thai Express, Plan B was Waraku, but somehow we ended up in Café Cartel. Such a big change ar, Thai food, Japanese food and then Western.
The serving was humongous! They should have shrunk their serving by a bit, on this occasion where it should be romantic. I was stuffing my mouth struggling to finish it. Talking about image… We always behave like a pair of old couple. You should know where I stand! Haha.
Got a really sweet card from boyfriend. He claimed that he is a noob and that was why he took so long to complete these Origami flowers which he learnt specially for this occasion.
Thank you boyfriend! =)
I made a card for him too, both of us loves letters! We write to each other on most occasion, and occasionally, we would bring it out to reminiscing those time, while laughing at each other's silliness back then.
My curl stayed well with me today too! Did an outward curl instead of my usual favorite inward curl.
Can't help but took a few more pictures of myself.
Camwhoring queen....

I hope everyone have enjoyed their Valentine's day! =)
If not, there is always another one next year.

With lots of love.
XOXO

I met Beatrice today!

I have been reading Beatrice's blog for awhile already, she is my idol! Beatrice is a lifestyle and fashion blogger, also a model from Lovebonito (one of my favorite online shop). The clothes she modeled always looks extremely gorgeous and are always the first few to be completely sold out!
A few days back, i saw her blogpost on Valentine's day giveaway which includes a complete makeup set sponsored by Maybelline. Since i always wear makeup, i thought why not give it a try.
I was so surprised when i realised that i have been chosen as one of the 8 lucky winner to receive this giveaway, among more than a thousand people who applied for it.
Gonna try all of these products out!
I think other than the joy of receiving a valentine's day gift from my favorite blogger, meeting her in person was a gift too! She is like a celebrity to me. Just that she seems more real than a famous singer or actress.
Her blog posts include nice places to dine at, travelling guide, makeup tips and she also features nice clothes from the online shops. Furthermore, she is a full-time blogger and update pretty frequently!
Check out her blog if you haven!
You might fall in love with it like how i did =)

Nine out of the twelve months

Zhi Ting, me, May, Yoshephine

Foong Chin, Esther, Candy and Purdey. Missing Deborah in these pictures.
So happened that the 9 of us sat together and formed a group for discussion during our first school term. We ended up cliquing together and doing the subsequent projects as a group.
Interestingly, all 9 of our birthdays fall on different month, meaning we would spend the 9 out of 12 months in a year celebrating birthdays.
And surprising, I am the oldest among them, even though in terms of mindset and thoughts I may seems am obviously younger than some of my girls.

It’s January, Foong Chin’s 21st birthday.

We spent our time after school searching for a nice place to chill out while waiting for Deborah to join us later in the afternoon. We strolled to Cineleisure from Ion, with the intention of catching a movie.
Movie plan failed, there wasn’t any nice movie up during that period and making decision in such a big group is seriously tough, especially in a group where there are too many oppositions! Haha. The 8 of us then headed back to Ion as our tummy reminded us that we were starving.

Maybe they should consider adding travelators in Orchard; it will definitely save some time.
Our birthday girl wanted to try out Taste Paradise Dim Sum. Sadly, due to Chinese New Year period, we were turned down as they only serve reservation and no Dim Sum! We didn’t wanna go any further as we were all starving, and we settled by the Japanese restaurant-Enmaru a few shops away.
Their prices ranges from 15.80- $25+++
More expensive than the usual Japanese's restaurants which i would go.

 My Oyako Don set.

And May's Soba on the rock.
So interesting isn't it! I have never tried Soba which is served hot.

The food lived up to the price.
And they serve hot green tea free of charge.
Not bad! Wouldn't mind going back again =)

Too lazy to bring my camera and do make up when i have 8am classes.
